This Website Cookie Policy (“Policy”) explains how PredictView Technologies, Inc. (“PredictView”, “our”, “us”, or “we”) use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons) to recognize you when you visit our Website, and collect information about your activity, browser and device. For the purposes of this Policy, “Website” means predictview.com. This Policy also explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
On our Website, you can manage your cookie settings or exercise your rights related to cookies through our Cookie Settings link in the footer of our Website.
This notice should be read in conjunction with PredictView’s Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. When you visit the site again, the cookie allows that site to recognize your browser. Cookies may store user preferences and other information. For example, some cookies remember your language or preferences so that you do not have to repeatedly make these choices when you visit one of our websites. Cookies provide a convenience feature to save you time, or tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page.
Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, PredictView) are called first party cookies. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called third party cookies. Third party cookies enable third party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (e.g., like interactive content and analytics). The parties that set these third party cookies can recognize your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites. Session cookies are cookies that disappear from your computer or browser when you turn off your computer. Persistent cookies stay on your computer even after you’ve turned it off for a fixed period of time. PredictView uses first-party cookies and third party cookies, as well as session and persistent cookies.
2. Why do we use cookies?
We use first party and third party session and persistent cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Website to operate, and we refer to these as “essential” or “strictly necessary” cookies. Other cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Website. For example, PredictView keeps track of the websites and pages you visit within PredictView, in order to determine what portion of the PredictView Website is the most popular or most used. This data is used to deliver customized content to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area. Third parties serve cookies through our Website for analytics and other purposes. This is described in more detail below.
3. What types of cookies do we use?
The following are the specific types of first and third party cookies served through our Website and the purposes they perform:
- Strictly Necessary Cookies: These cookies are necessary for the website to function and to provide you with services available through our Website. They cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. Some examples include: session cookies needed to transmit the website, authentication cookies and security cookies. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the Website will not then work. If you have chosen to identify yourself to us, we may place on your browser a cookie that allows us to uniquely identify you when you are logged into the Websites and to process your online transactions and requests.
- Functional Cookies: These cookies enable our Website to provide enhanced functionality, personalization and services. They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our Website. If you do not allow these cookies, then some or all of these services may not function properly.
- Performance Cookies: These cookies collect information about how our Website are used, including which pages are viewed most often. These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources and measure site engagements (e.g., how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) so we can measure and improve the user experience and performance of our Website. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around our Website. This enables us to build and maintain our Website. We may use our own technology or third-party technology to track and analyze usage information to provide enhanced interactions and more relevant communications (e.g., marketing communications), provide insights to our sales and marketing teams, and to track the performance of our marketing campaigns and advertisements. Some examples include: cookies used to analyze site traffic, cookies used for market research, and cookies used to display advertising that is not directed to a particular individual. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited our Website, and will not be able to monitor its performance.
- Targeting Cookies: These cookies are used to make advertising messages more relevant to you. They may help us understand the content with which you have engaged on our Websites so they can subsequently deliver some targeted advertisements to you. They perform functions like preventing the same ad from continuously reappearing, ensuring that ads are properly displayed for advertisers, and in some cases selecting advertisements that are based on your interests. We sometimes use cookies delivered by us or by third parties to show you ads for our products that we think may interest you on devices you use and to track the performance of our advertisements. These cookies may be set through our Site by our advertising partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. They do not store directly personal information (e.g., name), but uniquely identify your browser and internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.
4. How do we use cookies?
We and our third party partners may use cookies and similar technologies for the purposes detailed above in Section 3 (What types of cookies do we use?) and to:
- Assist you in efficiently and safely navigating and experiencing our Website;
- Keep our Website secure;
- Enable you to register, login, provide feedback and otherwise interact with our Website;
- Store and honor your preferences and settings;
- Measure and analyze usage and performance data and optimize our Website and services; and
- Assist us with marketing efforts.
5. What type of data do cookies collect?
In addition to the types of data mentioned herein, we may gather the following information when you visit our Website: (i) identifiers, such as user ID, organization ID, username, email address and user type; (ii) commercial information; and (iii) internet activity information such as IP address, device and application information, identification numbers, location, browser type, user interactions such as the pages and files viewed, website and webpage interactions including searches and other actions you take, operating system type and version, system configuration information, date and time stamps associated with your usage and details of which of our products and product versions you are using. This information is used for the purposes set out in this Policy.
6. How can I control cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. Because strictly necessary cookies are essential to deliver our Website to you, you cannot refuse them.
Certain content and features on our Website and services depend on cookies to function and choosing to disable cookies may limit your ability to use some features on our Website and services. For example, authentication cookies are used to identify and recognize registered users and to enable them to gain access to requested content or features. If you choose to block cookies, you cannot sign in or use certain content or features. If you choose to delete cookies, any settings and preferences dependent on those cookies will be lost.
You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our Website though your access to some functionality and areas of our Websites may be restricted. As the means by which you can refuse cookies through your web browser controls vary from browser-to-browser, you should visit your browser’s help menu for more information.
On our Website, you can manage your cookie settings or exercise your rights related to cookies through our Cookie Settings link in the footer of our Website. Once you’ve made your choices in the Cookie Settings, they will be stored for 365 days so you don’t have to re-configure every time you visit our Website. You can also exercise your cookie preferences by clicking on the appropriate opt-out links provided below.

7. How do you treat “Do Not Track” signals?
Various browsers allow a “do not track” (DNT) setting that relies on a technology known as a DNT header, which sends a signal to websites visited by the individual about the individual’s browser DNT setting. At this time, there is no general agreement on how companies like PredictView should interpret Do Not Track signals. Therefore, PredictView does not currently commit to respond to DNT signals, whether that signal is received on a computer or on a mobile device. PredictView does, however, provide meaningful choices to you about the information that is collected through cookies and similar technologies through the various opt-out options set forth above. We continue to monitor developments around DNT browser technology and the implementation of a standard.
8. How often will you update this Cookie Policy?
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes to this Cookie Policy by posting the changes on this page. Please therefore re-visit this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies. The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last updated.
