Randy Waters – CEO & Founder
Randy brings over 30 years of entrepreneurship, technical innovation, software engineering, product, and operations executive leadership. Most recently, he served as the CTO for FastModel Technologies, a sports technology company based in Chicago. He led the software development and deployment for all desktop and SaaS web and mobile products. Before FastModel, Randy served as COO and VP of Engineering for RampRate, Radware, and Comverse technology companies. As an entrepreneur, Randy founded AppTrigger, a telecommunications technology company acquired in 2010 (now Microsoft), where he raised over $32M of VC funding for the company. Before AppTrigger, Randy served as GM of US Operations and VP of Marketing and Product Management for Versatel, based in Ottawa. He helped the company raise over $5M for its Series B VC funding. Randy also served as Chief of Switching Technology at start-up Taqua Systems (acquired by Tekelec), where he led the software development of its next-generation Class 5 Softswitch and raised capital. Randy directed the development of large-scale switching and network systems at Alcatel, Tekelec, and Bell Laboratories. Randy has a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and holds two technology patents.
Tony Schaller – CPO
Anthony Schaller is a seasoned C-level executive with over 30 years of experience in data heuristics, machine learning/ai, scalable transactions/distributed systems, private and public cloud, IoT, and security that he has leveraged in delivering solutions into the Enterprise and Consumer market. Following his academics at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie-Mellon, he proceeded to leadership positions with firms such as ML Information Systems (now Biovia), Match.com, IAC (CitySearch & Ticketmaster), Report (led the transformation of the music industry), SAP/Business Objects.
Tony currently serves as an advisor to PredictView, focusing on Product and Program Management, and Gener8, a leading Silicon Valley design firm leading commercialization strategies. He also advises TA Associates, a $47 Billion Private Equity firm, where he serves as a Sr. Operating Advisor addressing acquisitions and operational improvements globally across the portfolio.
Muhammad Murtza – Senior Software Developer
Muhammad Murtza is a senior full-stack engineer with a wealth of experience delivering cutting-edge solutions for clients. Muhammad is a pro at navigating every stage of the development process. He is dedicated to providing user-centric solutions that make a real impact. A natural leader with a knack for problem-solving, Muhammad is always up for a challenge and can quickly adapt to new technologies and roles. Muhammad’s diverse skill set includes NodeJs, Express, React, NextJs, Ruby on Rails, and DevOps experience on GCP, Azure, AWS, and Heroku.
Ross Comerford – CSO and Founder
Ross brings almost 20 years of entrepreneurship, market vision, sales, and business development executive leadership. He founded FastModel Sports in 2004, a sports technology company based in Chicago, whose products are used by all NBA, WNBA, and G-League franchises, 90% of men’s and women’s NCAA Division 1 basketball programs, as well as over 15,000 high school teams. As CEO, Ross’ vision has innovated the sport across the US and fundamentally changed how coaches and players prepare for and execute games. His influence is now spreading across basketball leagues around the globe via FIBA and Chinese basketball associations. Ross is a master developer of relationships, becoming one of the most well-known behind-the-scenes influencers in the sport. This ability has helped Ross build strategic partnerships with other market-leading companies that collectively deliver superior solutions to their customers and increase company value. Ross is a tenacious salesman, organically growing the company to multimillion-dollar annual revenues. As an entrepreneur, Ross initially bootstrapped FastModel Sports himself, but to strategically grow the company, he has raised more than $20M in capital from high-net-worth investors. In 2020, Ross was the only person named in both lists; Top 100 Influential People in College Basketball and the Top 100 Influential People in the NBA.
John Glass – CMO
As a global C-Level marketing executive with expertise spanning B2B technology markets worldwide, John has held leadership roles in multiple companies.
Most recently, this involved restructuring the global
marketing team and organization for an international provider of managed video/media transport and processing solutions, integrating two acquired companies, then rebranding and positioning the new entity. John’s high-tech marketing expertise includes telecom, broadcast, software, IP and video networking, compression, and cloud computing. He also:
- Partnered on executive teams that executed three successful turnarounds.
- Co-founded a start-up company, growing in 4 years from 5 to 200+ people and 2 locations. He helped raise over $75M in VC funding.
- Introduced to market 100+ technology products (many award-winning).
- Inspirational and engaging leader, skilled in managing teams of 250+ people across multiple continents and cultures.
- General Manager of 2 divisions of Fortune 500s, leading one to achieve benchmark-setting P&L margins.
- Successful military leader and officer in a highly technical profession of space and communications systems.
John has rare expertise across all facets of strategic and tactical B2B marketing and planning, product
development/management, and sales/business development within dynamic technology markets
worldwide.
John has an MBA from Western New England University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington State University, where he played D1 football. John also served in the United States Air Force Reserves as Space Command Program Manager on Advanced Satellite Systems. John lives with his wife, Heidi, in Camarillo, CA.
Jenny Sohn, CFA, CPA, MBA – CFO
Jenny is a seasoned CFO, well-versed in finance and legal operations at private and public companies. She served as Audit Chair with various board members to provide stewardship for corporate compliance, acquisition-related transactions, and equity/debt raises. She is active in helping nonprofit organizations with education and healthcare investment.
· CFO with over 20+ years of hands-on experience in leading finance as well as executive teams in both public and private companies.
- Well-versed in the latest compliance knowledge in US GAAP and best practices in audit, accounting, tax, and legal matters
- · Passionate about growing and scaling companies and navigating challenges alongside
Over the years, Jenny served several private companies as an operator, finance leader, and advisor to executive teams.
Jenny started her career as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. She received her MBA at UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and her CFA and CA CPA. Previous roles at Applied Materials in Treasury and Corporate Accounting, Skyport Systems (acquired by Cisco). Most recently served as CFO at Evernote. She led the effort to form Evernote’s first Internal Audit Committee and Risk Committee. She also created China JV, the first onshore JV for SaaS companies in the US.
When not in corporate offices, she serves as a patient counselor at Palo Alto Medical Foundation Oncology Department. She also worked as a Fund Manager at the Union Presbyterian Church, Los Altos, to help the communities and the causes she deeply cares for. Jenny is also an active LP at Operator Collective, a venture fund founded by amazing woman partners.
She lives in Los Altos with her two boys and a German Shepherd (“Dozor” means sentinel in Russian).
Alex Gordon – CTO
Alex brings a decade of application development, architecture, applied analytics, mobile application, and cloud solutions to complex scalable products in the medical device, surgical information systems, healthcare, sports, social media, and retail industries. Most recently, Alex was the lead architect of cloud solutions and application development at Pandera Systems. Alex was the lead architect and developer of the PredictView platform. His software skills and experience span Javascript, Typescript, Python, Java, NodeJS, Flask, Spring Boot, HTML5, CSS, SQL, ReactJS, React Native, AngularJS, Objective-C, Swift, C, C++, C#, PHP, and Ruby. He has developed applications for HIPAA compliance. Alex has certifications as Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer and Google Professional Cloud Developer.
Alex graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Engineering Management. He lives in San Diego, CA.
Jared Minkel, PhD – Chief Science Officer
As PredictView’s Chief Scientist, Jared brings a wealth of knowledge and experience related to scientific methods for optimizing and evaluating digital products.
Jared brings a rare combination as a clinical psychologist and specializes in developing digital products that improve mental healthcare outcomes. He has extensive experience working with product designers, engineers, and Artificial Intelligence technologies in bringing new treatment approaches that are more engaging and effective than traditional methods.
As a subject matter expert in behavioral healthcare, Jared is a crucial leader in PredictView’s product development initiatives, creating mental health solutions that provide society with therapeutic tools that benefit the patient and us all.
A clinical psychologist with experience commercializing digital-based product solutions, Jared brings excellent value to PredictView’s Mental Health Assistive AI solution, a transformative first in Mental Health Care.
Jared’s clinical and scientific experience includes behavioral health research, therapeutic product development, regulatory strategy, behavioral medicine, and quantitative research methods.
Jared has worked in both research and commercial behavioral health entities.
Jared has earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Science from the University of Pennsylvania and his BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
